My Love Letter to Japan is a personal, three-part cinematic project exploring the emotions I experienced while travelling through Japan — from the awe of first encounters, to the excitement of neon-lit nights, to the melancholy of departure.
What began as simple travel clips grew into something more meaningful: weeks of editing, colour grading, sound design and animation transformed raw footage into a cohesive cinematic story.
Each chapter captures a feeling — awe, excitement, melancholy — weaving visuals, rhythm and sound to convey not just places, but the emotions they left behind.
It is both a tribute to Japan and a reflection on how travel can change the way we see the world.
See you soon, Japan.
